ARTIST Nadia Tsakova
Nadia Tsakova attended art college in Bulgaria in 1992 and later attended the National Academy of Arts In Sofia, gaining an MA in Fine Arts, printmaking and Graphic Arts.
Afterwards she won several national awards and competitions in Bulgaria and when she moved to England she continued to earn recognition, winning prizes for exhibits in London at the ROI and the National Print Exhibition.
Nadia has exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition (2006, 2022), Royal Society of Portrait Painters, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, NEAC, Pastel Society, The Discerning Eye show in London among others.
Her latest series of monoprints are inspired by the challenge to express light, creating forms, movement and capturing a certain moment, unique glimpse of the present, transforming it into revelation.
